With the pitches at Fleet Lane now in operation we will be allocating them on this page. Please contact Neil Maslen for pitch requestsby text only please - 07779088441. These are done a month at a time as there are always lots of changes!
To confirm the club rules of match priority. First priority goes to any County Cup games. This is followed by League Cup games, then League games then friendlies. This is the same order for all age groups.
Cancelling Games
In an effort to clear things up with regards to cancelling games I am putting the process by which the decision is made on here so no one is confused or unaware. If because of weather, or any other situation, it looks like there may be a need to call games off the following will happen where possible. At the earliest opportunity Steve Walker will contact either Paul Walker or Neil Maslen to advise that he thinks the pitches are or may not be playable. This process may happen earlier in the week or it may be on a Sunday morning. Paul & Neil will then make a decision taking into account the current weather, weather forecast and the current state of the pitches and the amount of games that are due to be played. If a decision is taken to cancel games the relevant managers will be informed at the earliest opportunity. This, for whatever reason, may not be possible but we will try our best to stick to this procedure. We also have to bare in mind that this is the first season the pitches have been used and we need to be particularly careful. We may well cancel games when you may think it is playable but it is not worth causing any unecessary damage for the sake of one weeks fixtures.
