Pannal Ash 7 - 1 Rothwell Juniors
This was a difficult first game of a new season. After moving from the Huddersfield league, to the Leeds and District League we have stepped up a level in strength - which is something we will have to do to ensure we compete at the same level as the league we have entered.
We played the game without any subs available, which made the game difficult and we tired at the end of each half. Up to the point of us tiring, we played well today. The score does not reflect the overall performance of the team, who battled right to the end.
There were some positive points, and a few things we need to address and work towards.
Well done lads, keep your chins up and with hard work and determination, the season will get easier.
