Welcome To The Girls Section
The Girls section at Rothwell Juniors, although only a season old is gaining momentum
with numbers of players increasing all the time. At present we have Under 9, 10 and
Under 12 teams, but we hope to increase this to make the girls section as large
as the boys, over the next few years.
Girls football is an integral part of club football these days and even the old
school thinkers will have to realise that football is not just a male sport. In deed
many clubs can not attain Charter Status unless they support girls teams at their
club.
Rothwell Juniors already has this support in place and a long term plan for the
girls section, so if you are looking for a forward thinking club for your daughter
then why not join the girls teams at Rothwell

New Players Wanted - All Ages
Although the current season is not quite over yet, thoughts are already being cast to increase the number of Teams and Players in the girls section.
In order to build a strong girls section for the coming season we need players to come and join the girls already here. Everyone is friendly and you are assured of quality coaching.
If you would like to join then please e-mail Mick Stuart or Dave Pearson. If you prefer you can check on the training dates and times for the girls and simply come to training, to see what it is all about.
We look forward to seeing you at the club

Police Get Tough

It is up to all of us to comply with Police requests and park in the School Car Park.

U10 Girls Win League
The under 10's girls have won the League Division 2 Title tonight having played their
worse game of the season defeating Dewsbury Rangers away 5-0.
Goals were scored by Haley 2 Ellerby 2 and Nichole who scored for the first time
this season.
I have to say well done to all the girls and with 3 games left still to play its
a great achievment, for this is their first season.
