First of all, on behalf of all at Rothwell Juniors, we offer you a warm welcome to our annual girls gala. Our gala has been running for many years now and most of the teams here this weekend have been supporting us year after year. It is pleasing to see some new teams this year, we hope that you become regulars over the coming seasons. Thank you all for attending our gala, it is our pleasure to host you all.
Our facilities at Rothwell Juniors are some of the best in Yorkshire for amateur football. Since moving from our previous home, we have tried to improve our facilities at Fleet Lane year after year to give all our players at Rothwell and of course visiting teams the best possible venue to play football. We are very proud of them.
A majority of the money raised this weekend contributes towards the upkeep of our wonderful facilities. Part of the money raised also goes to our under 14 team who have arranged the gala this year.
Players: Enjoy your games and be respectful of your match officials, team mates and opponents.
Spectators: Chill out and enjoy the show! Leave the playing to the players, coaching to the coaches and reffing to the refs.
Finally, thank you to all of our sponsors and helpers. It would be very difficult to put on the event without your support.
